The Most Royal Order - House of Bradley

The Most Royal Order of the House of Bradley is a distinguished Irish-American order of chivalry established by H.R.H. Prince Carl Bradley

on 15 March 2024.

This prestigious Order is typically awarded to senior house officers or high-ranking civil servants, as determined by the sovereign with counsel from His Highness' Royal Court. The name reflects the rich medieval heritage and enduring legacy of the Royal House of Bradley. While not all knights are granted this esteemed honour, those who are inducted into this Order are formally titled "Knights of the Royal House of Bradley."

Prince Carl originally initiated the Knights of the Most Royal House of Bradley as a royal chivalric order, making it the highest-ranking honour within the House Orders. In the absence of the sovereign, the Order will be presided over by the Prince(ss) of Baile Uí Bhrolcháin.

This is not a revival of a previous order but a new establishment, governed by statutes and structured to maintain a fixed membership.

The total number of Knights or Dames authorised is limited to 150, excluding the sovereign, the Great Master, and the Assistant Great Master of the Order. Candidates for knighthood are nominated through the House Chamberlain, based on referrals from the Royal Court.

The Chamberlain submits the list of nominees to the sovereign, who either approves or declines the recommendations. Approved candidates are then subject to a final vote by the Royal Court, requiring at least 80% approval.

To be considered for this high honour, nominees should have notable achievements or commendable actions accompanying their submission. Once the official tally of 150 members is reached, no additional knighthoods will be granted, as per the foundational proclamation of the Order.

All proceeds from The Order are donated to charity through the Prince Bradley Foundation.

Sales from The Order's regalia directly support the Prince Bradley Foundation and its charitable initiatives. Additionally, Charity Dinners are hosted where the cost of each plate covers the meal, and all remaining proceeds go toward funding the Foundation's efforts. These contributions help provide medical assistance, feed those in need, support children's education, and fund initiatives to combat childhood cancer.

Prince Bradley Foundation is organised exclusively for charitable and religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Order consists of the Sovereign of the Royal House of Bradley, currently HRH Prince Carl, who is also the Great Master, and the Assistant Great Master HRH Princess Christina, the Princess of Baile Uí Bhrolchán, and five Classes of members:
