Autobiography of HIRH Prince Patrick Ryan Bradley

Prince of the Blood Royal

Second in Line to the Sovereign Headship

Son of the Imperial & Royal House of Bradley–Uí Bhrolcháin and the Bavarian Uradel House of Scherlein

I. My Birth and Early Identity

I was born on 8 November 1991, at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, in Columbus, Georgia. As the first-born son and second child of:

  • HIRH Sovereign Prince Carl Raymond Bradley, head of the Imperial & Royal House of Bradley–Uí Bhrolcháin

  • HIRH Princess Consort Elke Petra Scherlein, noblewoman of the Bavarian Uradel

I entered the world carrying the combined heritage of Gaelic royalty and Continental nobility.

From the beginning, I understood that my life was shaped not only by my own path, but by the legacy of the House into which I was born.

II. My Heritage and Lineage

My ancestry is a union of two ancient lines:

From my father:

  • The Cenél Bhrolcháin, a princely branch of the Northern Uí Néill

  • A lineage tied to Suibhne Meann, High King and Rí of Aileach

  • A tradition of Gaelic sovereignty, scholarship, and Christian leadership

From my mother:

  • The Bavarian Uradel House of Scherlein

  • A 2,400‑year royal constellation including:

    • The Kings of Macedonia

    • The Roman imperial line

    • The Merovingians

    • The Árpád kings of Hungary

    • The Piast dynasty of Poland

These two streams meet in me, forming a heritage that is both ancient and living.

III. My Place in the Royal House

I hold the title:

His Imperial & Royal Highness Patrick Ryan Bradley, Prince of the Blood Royal, Second in Line to the Sovereign Headship of the House of Bradley–Uí Bhrolcháin.

As the first-born son, I stand directly behind my sister, HIRH Princess Christina Elisabeth‑Ann, the Tánaiste, in the line of succession.

My role is one of:

  • Support to the Tánaiste

  • Continuity of the male line

  • Preservation of the House’s traditions and heraldry

  • Representation of the dynasty in cultural and ceremonial matters

I am a living link between the past and the future of our House.

IV. My Upbringing and Formation

I was raised in a home defined by:

  • Faith

  • Service

  • Honor

  • Family loyalty

My father’s life of military discipline and emergency service taught me resilience, duty, and the meaning of leadership. My mother’s Bavarian heritage instilled in me dignity, steadiness, and respect for tradition.

Growing up within a royal household that values humility over spectacle, I learned that nobility is not a privilege — it is a responsibility.

V. My Role Today

As Prince of the Blood Royal, I serve the House in several capacities:

  • Guardian of the Bradley male line

  • Support to the Tánaiste in dynastic matters

  • Representative of the House’s cultural mission

  • Bearer of the Bradley–Scherlein heritage into the next generation

I uphold the principles of our House:

“One God, One Land, One People, One Family.”

My life is dedicated to ensuring that the legacy entrusted to us continues with honor.

VI. My Legacy Moving Forward

I am still writing the chapters of my life, but I know my purpose:

  • To uphold the dignity of the Imperial & Royal House of Bradley–Uí Bhrolcháin

  • To preserve the traditions of both my Gaelic and Bavarian ancestry

  • To stand ready to serve the House whenever called

  • To ensure that our lineage continues with strength, integrity, and unity

I am HIRH Prince Patrick Ryan Bradley, Prince of the Blood Royal, and I embrace my place within our ancient House with pride, humility, and unwavering devotion.
